Driss El Maloumi, "the poet of the lute" one of the most important contemporary modernist musicians. These works attracted the attention and appreciation of specialized critical writings. Maloumi has won several awards:"Ziryab Skills" , ”Medal of Agadir City”, "Medal of Merit" and a Medal of Honor of the Ministry of Culture of the French Republic, in the rank of "Knight of Arts and Literature”. He has participated with a large number of international names with unique creative projects. He has worked in musical works for theater, cinema and films and has written several articles and analytical writings in the world of music. He currently serves as the director of the Conservatory of Agadir, Morocco. Maloumi says: "... Music is an aesthetic game filled with a little ambiguity necessary to honor the childish wonder in us.
