Driss El Maloumi, "the poet of the lute" one of the most important contemporary modernist musicians. ￼Some of his works: “Anarose” (Hope) "Dance of the Soul" French publications of "Buddha Music“ ￼"Three memes" "Counter Jour“ “The heart's eye” “A place“. These works attracted the attention and ￼appreciation of specialized critical writings. Maloumi has won several awards:"Ziryab Skills" , ”Medal ￼of Agadir City”, "Medal of Merit" and a Medal of Honor of the Ministry of Culture of the French ￼Republic, in the rank of "Knight of Arts and Literature”. He has participated with a large number of ￼international names with unique creative projects. He has worked in musical works for theater, cinema ￼and films and has written several articles and analytical writings in the world of music. He currently ￼serves as the director of the Conservatory of Agadir, Morocco. Maloumi says: "... Music is an aesthetic ￼game filled with a little ambiguity necessary to honor the childish wonder in us. Let us, escape a little, ￼from the arbitrariness of meaning, maybe we can defeat the usual boredom with the musical act .."
