Islam Taha is an Egyptian Oud musician tutored by Maestro Naseer Shamma at the Oud House of Cairo where he went on to graduate and gain a level enabling him to teach the instrument himself, he has since dedicated most of his career to teaching through which he has taught “Noon orchestra” Egypt’s 1st female orchestra. He has been nominated to participate in many international festivals as well as becoming a member of the 2350BC Orchestra. Taha has trained as lead of the Bait Al Oud Orchestra,The Opening of the Islamic museum , Al-Aksur, the capital of world culture, the International Day of Arabic Calligraphy and many others. He Founded the “Juzour” band. He has held many workshops to teach the oud and currently working as a professor at the Oud house in Cairo and was assigned as director of the El Harawy Creativity Center.
